With the positive cues from the US, both the big benchmarks NSE BSE performed well today and closed on a positive note. Except Metal all other sectors performed well today.
The Sensex closed at 18314, up 117 points and the Nifty closed at 5517, up 35 point from their last closes.
In today's trade large caps performed really well than mid caps & small caps. Best performers of today's trade were: IT, Auto & Capital Good they were followed by Health Care & Banking sectors. Metals along with Consumer Durables and FMCG were the losers of today's trade.
Top NSE gainers of today's trade were: Ranbaxy, IDFC, L&T, Power Grid Corporation, Kotak Mahindra Bank.
