Stock Market Report|MCX Gold Updates Silver Trend Today|Intraday NSE BSE Stock Tips|Nifty Range For Tomorrow 17 April:-With the best performance by interest-rate sensitive sectors being the best performers, the markets closed with moderate gains today. The leading stockk was Tata Motors. Auto, Banking, Capital Goods and Realty closed with significant gains and boosted-up. IT and Technology were the worst performers as it was Infosys that dragged them down. Telecom and cement stocks were also not performed well.
March inflation data: Food articles inflation for March has come in at 9.94% versus 6.07% (MoM). The Nifty Outlook is looking bullish as it could get a boost if there is a 25 bps rate cut in the RBI Credit Policy tomorrow. Finally the Sensex closed at 17151, up 56 points and the Nifty ended at 5226, up 19 points.
