Stock Market Closing Today, Nifty Outlook, NSE Intraday Tips, Make Money In Day Trading, Delivery Calls, Share Tips For Tomorrow 23 August: After a cautious start and a subsequent choppy ride, the market ended modestly lower at the end of today's trade. Infosys contributed rise of 10.88 points in the Sensex. Ranbaxy Laboratories surged over 3% as analysts cited improved sales potential in key US markets. However, Bharti Airtel contributed fall of 12.77 points in the Sensex. The Sensex closed at 17847, down 38 points from its previous close, and the Nifty shut shop at 5413, down 8 points. Top gainers on the Nifty were Ranbaxy Labs, BPCL, Bank of Baroda, Infosys and Dr Reddys Labs.
