Report Today:Today markets ended almost where they started trade from
in the morning. The strong opening of Indian markets did not continue
the pace and lost significantly in the last few minutes and closed
with only moderate gains. Positive cues from European markets failed
to cheer Indian equities. FMCG traded negative throughout the day.
With heavy selling pressure Realty, Banking and Capital Goods also
dragged NSE BSE into red zone. While Auto, Healthcare and Oil &
Gas performed well today.
Results
Today : HCL Technology came up with good surprise, it raised growth
in dollar revenue terms while HDFC Bank reported 30% rise in revenues
on back of robust loan growth. The Sensex ended at 17392, up 34 points and
the Nifty closed at 5300, up 10 points.

Updates, Silver Tips Today 18 April : Gold futures ended higher,
capping a choppy
trading day. Gold traded nearly flat after a
successful Spanish debt auction. The SPDR Gold Trust, the world’s
largest gold-backed exchange-traded fund,
is holding 1,286.17 tonnes
as the information present on their website.
