On the last day of the week both big benchmarks NSE BSE closed with significant gains and closed in green. Today at the end of trading session the Sensex finally ended at 16,821, up 145 points and the Nifty ended at 5,040, up 39 points. All the sectoral indices closed on a positive note today. Though the experts are not convinced that it will remain bullish in long term or not.
Top NSE-BSE gainers were Reliance Capital, RCom, Tata Steel, Sterlite, DLF, Mannapuram Finance, JSW Steel, Chambal Fertilizers.
Top losers were HCL Technologies, Siemens and IDFC, IDBI, Educomp, Tata Power, Tata Consultancy.
