Stock Market Analysis Today 25 May

A Quick Report on the Performance of NSE BSE today:

Today after the end of trading session, the stock market s again closed in red. All the sectors were closed in negative today. The reason why the markets slipped further today was  IT and Capital Goods which put a lot of pressure on both the indices NSE & BSE.Other sectors like: Oil Marketing Companies, Pharma Companies and Sugar Companies also faced selling pressure today which also led the market to downside.

For most of the day, Banking was trading only marginally in the red but slipped deeper in the end of trading session. The only sector which closed in positive today was Consumer Durables. 

The Sensex closed at 17847, down 165 points from its previous close, and Nifty closed at 5349, down 46 points. 

Top Gainers (NSE) were: Kotak Mahindra Bank, Sun Pharma, Ambuja Cement, L&T, Jindal Steel & Power.
